FAQ
Do I have to physically fit to participate? No! Our bootcamp is designed to GET YOU IN SHAPE. Our program is designed to accommodate all fitness levels and includes modified exercises for those who may not be able to fully participate in running and jumping exercises. Modifications will help those in need to build up slowly, those with injuries and also those who need a more advanced workout.
How long are classes?
Classes are 50-60 min long which includes a warm up, dynamic stretching, a full workout, cool down and stretching at the end of class.
Do I have to sign up for one time, but can I come to different times?
We try to be as flexible as possible to ensure that you don’t miss bootcamp. If you sign up for the morning class but miss that one, you can join us in the evening.
What type of people can I expect to meet at bootcamp? You’ll meet individuals just like yourself: People who seek discipline in an organized group, who want to do something different… and who appreciate a challenge!
What is a typical day at boot camp like? That’s hard to say, because every day is different. One day could be an endurance day; another could be a strengthening day; yet another could be an obstacle-course day. We work to challenge every muscle in your body, from your fast-twitch to your slow-twitch muscle fibers, keeping your body challenged and your mind interested at the same time.
Will I be sore? Yes. The first two to three weeks will be the toughest for your body to adjust to. However, once you acclimate to the program, you’ll feel sore less often throughout the remaining weeks. Remember, it’s a good thing! We work on stretching, warm-ups, and cool-downs to help minimize the soreness.
When will I start seeing results? If you follow the program and nutrition guide with maximum effort, you can expect to see amazing results, such as increased muscle tone, loss of inches from head to toe, increased stamina, better sleep, faster metabolism (which burns the stored body fat), and most of all, the happiness that comes with being a healthier person!
What items will I have to purchase? We ask that you have a mat or towel for cushion for some exercises (non military style pushups, crunches, planks etc.) & Bring water. You may also want to purchase a pair of gloves because we will be on our hands often with (bear crawls, crab walks, pushups, burpees etc.) Keep in mind we are outdoors and this is WINTER bootcamp so dress in layers, you can always take off when you get warm.
Do we still work out when weather is bad? Absolutely! Rain or shine, we are working out! We should be fine as we have a parking deck we use if weather is bad. Unless there is a terrible thunderstorm with lighting expect us to workout. Your coach will contact you in advance if bootcamp is canceled.
Do you offer personal training if I don’t want to participate in bootcamp? Yes. But also keep in mind that campers also get a discounted rate while in the 8 week program. Ask about our personal training deals today!
